Week 8 Reading and Writing

The reading and writing assignments are working pretty well for me because I always learn something new. I also like the fact that I get to practice my writing skills because that is one way to get better at writing. Sometimes I have a hard-time finishing the assignments on time because of things that happen or occur but I still try to get them done none the less. So far my favorite reading would have to be Tartuffe because for some reason, I just loved to explore the different themes and meanings behind the story and even read it more times that I needed to. The notes help me with my story posts because there is always something in my notes I can use, whether it be to write the story post or to have a better understanding. One thing I have discovered that I should do in new reading/research strategies is to organize categorically and also I feel that I should start to look at other sources than just the book when it comes to researching. When it comes to my project submission, I can’t exactly say that I am happy with it because I always second guess myself but besides that, I am glad that I was able to go through and actually complete it, considering it was my first project submission. Overall, my biggest accomplishment in this class so far would have to be managing to complete every analysis because every time I work on my analysis, it takes me forever and I sometimes begin to get impatient with how long it takes me. It also takes me quite a while to complete the assignments, especially with time management. Looking back at my assignments, I don’t think there isn’t too much more I can do besides better research on my part because we already do such a good job at thoroughly analyzing a piece of work, due to the many steps we have to take. To clarify, those steps are like taking notes, then writing the analysis, and then using our past work to help us. These steps always help me understand material a lot better.
