Project Revision

For my project submission I chose three editing challenges which are:
1)      Answer the question with a clear, debatable thesis.
When looking at my project submission, I made my thesis about Ch’un-hyang and how all the views and attitudes towards her tied into the author’s. However, this argument wasn’t the best argument and wasn’t exactly solid. Therefore, I chose to make a clearer argument because my past argument, although makes a point; did not clearly state my argument. Thus, I added one small sentence at the end of my thesis so the readers could understand what I was arguing. However, I may change it again if sometime this week, I don’t like this knew one.
2)      Make a point, don’t summarize.
I used make a point, don’t summarize because in order to create a clear argument, I need to have a less summarized point/paragraphs. Therefore, I added sentences explain why I argued that the authors view in total was that Ch’un-hyang was faithful and stubborn. However, in the future I may find myself fixing this again due to spotting something knew wrong with my eyes since you need fresh eyes to catch mistakes.
3)      Paragraph development.
I used paragraph development because in order to change the thesis, I needed to change the other paragraphs along with it. Therefore, I added sentences to express my argument throughout the project submission. However, I found myself not taking other sentences out because the all somehow tied into what I was saying. I just needed to clarify better.

I didn’t choose the other editing challenges because for example, I already had enough textual evidence, and that became a problem because I began summarizing more than I was analyzing.

All though I have chosen these editing challenges and edited my essay with them, I still have a lot of things to fix in my project submission and may see knew things that I missed after using these editing tools. Therefore, the project submission may keep changing even though I turned this assignment and did it already. Hopefully, I used these editing tools correctly.
